Happy Leap Day!

I got over my pizza disappointment by making chili yesterday. I also went running yesterday, a total of two miles. That was fun, it's been many weeks since I last went running. The outside of my hips were cranky about it after, and my inner thighs were cranky this morning, but the rest of me is pretty up. I got up this morning and did my short yoga tape, specifically because I had some lingering stiffness. It helped. And I remember now about the specificity of training, and how if I want to run races I have to train in running rather than tae bo or yoga, because I may get in fine shape by doing those things but it won't improve my running. So, I'm working towards putting running back onto the regular schedule. It helps that the weather is nice (although still cold).

My brother is still here, the boys are out front finishing up round one of work on the Behemoth. Then we're going to run off shopping for Neff birthday presents, and then head out to the lovely town where my sister lives for pizza and cake. So many other things I should be doing, but I don't want to. I need to pay the bills, I need to do the dishes, I need to put socks on and take the sports bra off, and I need to pee. Plus there are books to be read and email to be answered. But (biological needs aside) I don't feel like doing any of it.

Boring, today, really. And that's about all I have to say. Sorry for being so wordless lately.
