What to write about? I finally counted up my cookbooks and found out I have 85+. That does seem like a lot, doesn't it? I pulled out Patricia Wells' The Paris Cookbook which I got for Christmas. It's got stories and explanations and fun stuff. I've never cooked actual French food, so I want to try something. I also need to read The True Sources of the Nile for the next Chicklit book club. You really ought to go check out Chicklit if you haven't already. It's newly renovated and there's lots of activity and fun stuff. It's been a blast to visit for the past week.
Mr D is off getting some Red Dwarf DVDs. I finished up my freelance work quicker than I expected, so I'm futzing around and contemplating picking out a book. I feel like reading. All I wanted to do this evening was curl up in bed with a book, but I had work to do. Dang it! Now it's 9:30 and himself has just retired with a headache. What to do?
I'm starting to show muscles again. I haven't lost any more weight, but the tone is increasing so I can't be too unhappy. I'm still not running much. I want to, but the weather is not cooperating and I've had a sore throat on and off for two or three weeks now. Swollen sore. I just haven't gotten out there. I would have today except for the work I had. I wish I'd known it was only going to take an hour, I would have structured my evening differently.
I really do have something to say, but it's not coming out at all. Damn. I thought getting the caucus stuff out of my system would unblock me, but it doesn't seem to have worked. Maybe I'm spending my writing molecules at Chicklit right now.
